it's a low-tech email management system.
I have four email accounts.
Email #1: This is my work email where I communicate with clients, also my family and close friends. I check this one all the time.
Email #2: This is my work admin email. This is where I sign up for professional memberships, work services like Rev, Wordy, Freshbooks and Squarespace. I check this about once a day
Email #3: This is my 20-year old hotmail account. I save this for the kids' school, work, church, extended family, and travel. I check it about once a day.
Email #4: Shopping and social media. This is the email I use to shop and to sign up for services like Facebook and Twitter. I only look at it when I am confirming that an order is coming through or I check it to get sale codes if I need to buy something at a particular store. It has over 26,000 emails right now since I zeroed it last year. That’s 26,000 emails that I didn’t have to deal with in my daily inbox.
I hope this helps.
Happy Writing! :)
