I was honored to interview Milton Glaser on behalf of the 22nd Annual AIGA San Diego Y Design Conference in Communication Arts. Milton of course, is on of the great names in design in the last century. These days, Milton is in his late 80s but he still goes to his studio every day to work, talk, and teach. He's best known (much to his chagrin) as the creator of the most-ripped-off-logo in the world: I heart NY. Milton was the man: he's the guy who found a house for Bob Dylan in Woodstock. As I talked to him, I was amazed how he just threw out references and I thought, "This man received a classical education that isn't taught anymore."
